WELCOME TO FAR WEST MAPS & BOOKS
We offer a wide variety of antique maps, atlases and books from the sixteenth to the twentieth century, specializing in nineteenth century maps and books concerning the exploration and settlement of the American West.
Far West Maps & Books is operated by Myron West and Kimberley West. We have been involved in the antiquarian map trade for the last fifteen years.
As charter members of the International Antiquarian Mapseller's Association, we subscribe to a strict code of ethics. All items offered for sale are absolutely guaranteed to be authentic, and to have been produced at or near the date listed.
Starting in 1997 we operated a retail shop in downtown Cheyenne. As of 2006, we no longer maintain a retail location. We exhibit at shows and fairs and are available by appointment for in person viewing. These listings represent only a fraction of available pieces. We welcome specific requests and want lists. We might have exactly what you are looking for.
